About this work

Dorinda returns Silvio's dog Melampo to him. During the hunt he got lost and Dorinda and her servant have found him. Silvio kneels on the ground and embraces the dog. Print from a series of 12 prints illustrating the play Il pastor fido, 2nd scene from the 2nd act.
