About this work
Wall decoration in three sections. At the bottom is a wainscoting decorated with two friezes with sea creatures. Above this is a rectangular flat decoration with two birds on garlands on either side of a vase. At the top is a semi-circular termination with grotesques and a putto on a manatee. Part of a wall decoration in the Loggetta del Cardinal Bibbiena in Vatican City.
