About this work
The object consists of the following parts: the foot, stem, and drip pan cast as one piece, and the candle spike. The stem is cast solid with lead or tin. The profiled conical foot transitions into a stem with one knop and then into a drip pan, on which a very long candle spike is attached. The round recessed drip pan has four ornaments in the raised wall, consisting of perforations in the form of a trefoil. The narrow raised rim has four crenellations, one of which is damaged.
