Solemn entry of Louis Napoleon as King of Holland in Amsterdam, 20 April 1808. Procession of two carriages with escort, many cheering spectators on the street. Viewed from the Nieuwe Amstelstraat. On the right the Portuguese-Israelite Synagogue (now Mr. Visserplein), on the right in the background the Great Synagogue (Nieuwe Amstelstraat).
