About this work

Akbar Padshah depicted to the waist, turned half to the right, holding a sword in his right hand and a white flower in his left hand. Leaf 3 in the 'Witsen Album', containing 49 Indian miniatures of rulers. A piece of paper with the name in Persian is pasted above the portrait. Below the portrait, a piece of paper bears the name in Portuguese.
