About this work

Design drawing for the print with the wagon of Actionists leaving Amsterdam via the Muiderpoort and driving towards Vianen and Culemborg. The stagecoach is driven by a jester, an ape with a banner reading Bombario rides on the roof, and the horses are led by a devil. Actionists or wind traders are in and around the wagon. The caption contains a text in three verses. Drawing for print 35 in the series The Great Mirror of Folly with satirical prints on Wind Trading or Share Trading of 1720. Design for a print.
