About this work

Allegory on the restoration of trade and navigation by the signing of the Peace of Amiens between Great Britain and France, including the Batavian Republic, 27 March 1802. In the clouds the radiant Peace with Unity and Diligence, at the bottom Mercury with Agriculture, Prosperity and Navigation. In the center the title in letters composed of appropriate figures and objects.
