About this work

The Monument of Liberty on the Neude in Utrecht. Erected on 19 May 1798 on the occasion of the adoption of the new Constitution and remained standing until 11 October 1805. A standing female figure of Liberty who, with the spear of liberty, defeats the dragon of federalism.
