About this work

Triumphal arch with a depiction of the Prince in the battle of Quatre-Bras, with a Roman triumphal chariot on top. In the frame, the subject of this arch is indicated as the battle of Waterloo. Erected at the Eenhoornsluis. Part of a series of 14 (of 16) drawings for the decorations erected during the visit of the Prince and Princess of Orange to Amsterdam on 19 September 1816.
