About this work

The Waterloo Column, a monument erected in honor of Willem Frederik, Prince of Orange, the later King Willem II, for his heroic deeds in the battles of Quatre Bras and Waterloo, at Soestdijk, 1815. The drawing is accompanied by a manuscript with the inscriptions on the monument.
