Coolen begins to cut down a tree at Ngoro. Part of a group of twelve loose sheets from a sketchbook with drawings about the life of Coenraad Laurens Coolen, evangelist in East Java, ca. 1820-1850. Each sheet has a drawing on the right half, with a caption in Indonesian.
