About this work

Right-hand sheet of a large representation in three sheets of the sea battle at Terheide (Sea Battle at Katwijk) during the First English War between the States fleet under Maarten Tromp and the English fleet under George Monck, 10 August 1653. On the right the ships the Hollandsche Tuin, the Vliegende Haan, the fire ship the Fortuin, the Huis van Nassau and the Resolution.
