Padoukwood sofa with brass fittings and upholstered seat, back, and sides in green and red striped velvet. The sofa rests on four outwardly curved, volute-shaped legs on knobs. The seat rail shows houses above the legs and continues into volute-shaped side stiles. The back has a wide top rail with a scalloped upper edge. The front legs, the seat rail, and the side stiles are fluted on the front; all legs have a fluted outer side. The back rail is decorated with punched leaf vines and has a rectangular recessed field in the center with a floral-decorated fitting. The houses of the seat rail and the ends of the side stiles are mounted with rosettes; in the center of the seat rail, an oval fitting on a rectangular recessed field.
