About this work
The mice, who have been hunting, walk single file with bowed heads through a street. They are sad because one of the hunters has been eaten by a cat. In the doorways of the houses in the street, mice are seen rubbing their eyes. Design for 'The Mouse Family and What Else Happened', the fifth chapter of the publication.
