About this work
This necklace with a pendant is constructed within the pattern of a halo. Extending from one central point, the clasp, are lines that define both the proportion and length of the links. The design of the pendant follows the same principle. The drawing indicates that the necklace was to be made of turquoise and electrum, a natural alloy of gold, silver and copper with a greenish-yellow hue.
