About this work

The halo pattern that was the starting point for the adjacent necklace also features in other of Lauweriks' jewellery designs. The brooch is almost identical to the pendant of the necklace, while in the ring we also see the three-dimensionality of this design principle. From a central point, a claw setting encloses a single gemstone that appears to float in the ring.
