About this work
Two groups. Upper group: woman with child and two men and a sketch of Bengali cattle. Lower: a group of Chinese on and around a daybed, on which a dice game is being played by a Chinese woman and a Javanese; another Javanese with a high hat looks over their shoulders. A standing Chinese with a fan and a woman with one leg raised sitting on a high table watch. Under the table a figure with a nursing child.
