About this work

On the left in the foreground stands a man with loincloth, sword and shield. On the right in the foreground two women with a child. Next to the man stands a child. The figures have noticeable elongated earlobes. The standing child seems to have a weight hanging from the right ear. In the background a wooden building and several other figures. Design for a book illustration.
