About this work
Luna, also known as Diana, wears a crescent moon on her forehead, referring to her status as the moon goddess. On her back she carries a quiver of arrows, and with her right hand she holds an arrow aloft. Sheet 81 verso and 82 recto from a sketchbook with 105 sheets.
