Bhairava Raga with Shiva

Shiva in the guise of Bhairava sits cross-legged on an elephant he has killed, holding a flute in his left hand, a snake coils around his upper arm and head, the Ganges springs from his forehead; opposite him kneels Parvati, behind her stands a servant with a basket of foodstuffs, her head reflected in a mirror on the wall, in the background behind the temple roof two peacocks are partially visible against a night starry sky with a full moon; above the scene, a yellow strip with a red decorative line and inscription in black. Around the scene, a green braid with black and white frame lines and around it a dark red glossy border with white frame lines.
