About this work
Vishnu as a boar sits on a lotus pedestal. With one of his tusks, he supports the earth (Bhu). Before him stand the gods Brahma and Shiva. The scene is framed by a narrow white border, surrounded by a broad orange-red decorative border with black frame lines; this sheet is mounted on a sheet of cardstock on which a black frame line has been drawn in pencil.
