About this work

In front of a palace with strong geometric divisions, the demon Putana is attacked by the baby Krishna and falls down mortally wounded; two women on either side look on and point to their lips in amazement. The frame borders of the scene are partly cut away; at the top is a rectangular protrusion with an inscription.
