About this work

The composition is divided into two horizontal bands separated by a broad orange band. Above, four men, one of dark complexion, sit cross-legged eating food offered to them, prepared by a man on the left in two large pots and presented by a standing man; in a tower on the left, a woman plays a drum, and three female heads are visible at the top. The lower band is higher and depicts a scene of men returning from or preparing for falconry, and three men under a tent cloth; servants on the right hold falcons on their gloved hands, and a man dressed in white stands in the open doorway of a pink building.
