About this work
On a terrace before a palace sits a loving couple on a multicolored carpet, above them a floating head, to the right a servant; in the foreground a half-figure of a praying old man; in two columns of text in Persian script. The scene lies in the center of the sheet and covers the width of two columns of text located above and below the scene, also on the back of the sheet.
