About this work

King Kamsa sits on the left on a stool with Akrura; a third figure sits with his face turned away from the pair on a smaller stool on the right; another couple sits on a stool on the right; between the two stools stands the same man as the seated figure with Kamsa, but now his face is turned in the opposite direction and he is walking away from the couple with his left hand raised. Above the figures is an inscription in ancient Indian script in black ink.
