About this work
After Krishna has disappeared from the circle of shepherdesses, they search for him; this search and imitation of Krishna is depicted in three horizontal bands with various scenes. The horizontal bands are separated by narrow white strips, a yellow band runs above and below the scene, and the whole is framed by a red border.
