About this work
A warrior in full ornament on a white horse with a black cover and the flag of the victor at the top leads the horse with his victim lying against the horse's neck by the reins; below the composition, four columns of text in Persian script, with a broad horizontal band over the middle two columns with thicker calligraphy. The composition lies slightly off-center to the left on the sheet, which is damaged and restored in places; on the verso, also four columns of text.
