Krishna and Akrura as Messenger

The sheet is divided into four squares, top left a scene with three singing ladies sitting in front of a lady clapping the beat; top right the messenger with a flute and a white flag heading for the palace where the ladies are sitting; bottom left the messenger on the way in a nocturnal landscape and on the right the sender, Krishna sitting in a room with a red wall on a rolled cushion; above the image a wide yellow strip with text in black and some red lines and numbers. Around the image a yellow border with black frame lines and a wider red border with black frame lines. The text concerns a couplet from the poem Satsai by the poet Bihari (late seventeenth century).
