About this work
Twice a landscape with a house and church tower. The left landscape is a winter scene in which a girl with an umbrella walks in the snow. At the top of the scene a personification of winter, a bearded man, who shakes a sack of snow over the landscape. The right landscape shows spring. The girl hops through the landscape with a skipping rope. At the top of the scene a boy in a tunic who drives away the personification of winter.
