About this work

Design for a chalice of partially gilded silver, with on the foot an angel with a jar, the Lamb of God and a cherub with the Veil of Saint Veronica, a stem formed as cherubs holding the globe, and a cup with cherubs and shields with three nails, the sponge (?) and the inscription IN[RI], right a sketch of a cherub. Verso graphite sketches, including of a colonnade and a dog and some calculations.
