About this work
Twelve scenes on one sheet. Upper scenes from left to right: the creation of heaven and earth by God the Father, God separates the waters, God creates the land. Below that: the creation of the sun, moon, and stars, the creation of fish and birds, the creation of Adam and Eve. Below that: God the Father presents Adam and Eve to each other, the Fall of Man, the expulsion from Paradise. Lower scenes: Cain kills Abel, a city with towers (possibly the Tower of Babel), and Noah in the ark. The tracing lies loose at the back of an album.
