Design for a wall in a large dome hall, with a buffet table with silver showpieces in the middle of two display cases with silver, the upper part of the wall painted with a balustrade behind which figures and a view onto a landscape. The representation, with an arched top, is surrounded by a wide golden border. Below a cross-section of the table and the cases, on both sides side views, and above a sketch of a boiserie, in graphite and pen and black ink; various sizes in graphite and red chalk. On the back of the cardboard a partially legible label of the framer L. Gautier, Paris. The watercolor comes with a cardboard front cover, cut out around the main representation.
