About this work
Altar with a sculpted group of the Lamentation at the Cross, above which two angels hold a lamp of God, under a baldachin consisting of four Corinthian columns supporting two curved sections of a cornice on which four volutes decorated with leaves rest, carrying a crown from which a lambrequin hangs. The altar, columns and crown show alternative solutions on the left and right.
