Epitaph for Anselmus de Boodt

Epitaph for Anselmus de Boodt in the Church of Our Lady in Bruges, died June 21, 1632. Centrally a depiction of the Holy Trinity, flanked by columns, at the top the family coat of arms. At the bottom a plaque with a nine-line epitaph in Latin. Part of the first album with drawings of quadrupeds. First of twelve albums with drawings of animals, birds and plants known around 1600, made on commission of Emperor Rudolf II. With commentary in Dutch, Latin and French.
