Red anemones. Numbered top right: 232. Latin name on the right. Part of the third album with drawings of flowers and plants. Tenth of twelve albums with drawings of animals, birds and plants known around 1600, made on commission of Emperor Rudolf II. With explanations in Dutch, Latin and French.
