Red and purple wallflower (probably). With a beetle. Numbered top right: 301. Top left, the Latin and Dutch names. Part of the fourth album of drawings of flowers and mushrooms. Eleventh of twelve albums of drawings of animals, birds, and plants known around 1600, made on commission of Emperor Rudolf II. With explanations in Dutch, Latin, and French.
