Mounted print with a representation of the legend of the Countess of Holland who gave birth to 360 children in the year 1276. With a description in Latin of the event by Petrus Andreas Duyrcantius in 1620. The print originating from the border work on the map of Holland of 1610. Numbered in the upper right: 25. Part of the seventh album with drawings of reptiles, amphibians and natural historical ensembles. The seventh of twelve albums with watercolours of animals, birds and plants known around 1600, made on commission of Emperor Rudolf II. With explanations in Dutch, Latin and French.
