About this work

Two descriptions in French of exceptional births in Naples, on May 4 and 9, 1811. Part of the seventh album with drawings of reptiles, amphibians and natural historical ensembles. The seventh of twelve albums with watercolours of animals, birds and plants known around 1600, made on commission of Emperor Rudolf II. With explanations in Dutch, Latin and French.
