Pink and a yellow tulip, with the seed pods of a peony in the center. Numbered top right: 50. Part of the first album of drawings of flowers and plants. Eighth of twelve albums of drawings of animals, birds, and plants known around 1600, made on commission of Emperor Rudolf II. With commentary in Dutch, Latin, and French.
