Three different varieties of buttercups. With a dragonfly. Numbered top right: 76. With Latin names. Part of the first album of drawings of flowers and plants. Eighth of twelve albums of drawings of animals, birds, and plants known around 1600, made on commission of Emperor Rudolf II. With explanations in Dutch, Latin, and French.
