Medlar, branch with leaves, flower and fruit. Numbered 127 in the upper right. Name in four languages on the right. Part of the second album of drawings of flowers and plants. Ninth of twelve albums of drawings of animals, birds and plants known around 1600, made on commission of Emperor Rudolf II. With commentary in Dutch, Latin and French.
