About this work
Queen Kleophis offers Alexander the Great wine after the conquest of Mazagae. Left Alexander with the officers of his army, right the queen with her ladies-in-waiting. The action takes place on a terrace in front of the palace. Right the palace with walls decorated with reliefs and spectators on a balcony. In the background a large round fortress tower.
