Moses chooses the seventy elders. In a plain in the desert, Moses stands with outstretched arms among the Israelites. In the background, the tabernacle or ark of the covenant; to the right, palm trees and tents. Modello for the large painting in the council chamber of the former Town Hall on the Dam.
