About this work

Diana and Virtus punish Venus and Bacchus. The personification of Virtue (or Temperantia, Temperance?) holds a bridle in her left hand and pours from a jug with her right. Diana holds a crescent moon in her left hand. Venus and Bacchus roll on the ground among overturned jugs. Cupid with a dove on the left.
