About this work

Dancing peasants. In front of a tavern, a group of peasants and peasant women perform a round dance to the music of a man with a hurdy-gurdy. On wooden benches, several arm-in-arm couples sit; on the right, a drunk man lies on the ground. In the background, the houses and church of a village.
