About this work

Triptych. On the central panel, the Adoration of the Magi. One king kneels and kisses the hand of the Christ Child; he has laid his crown and scepter on the ground. To the right, the other kings with their gifts and retinue. On the left wing, the kneeling male donor with six sons and Saint George with a banner. On the lectern, the coat of arms of the Van Rooy family. On the right wing, the kneeling female donor with five daughters and Saint Anne in the Trinity. Here, the coat of arms of the Francken (or Vrancken) family.
