About this work
The Prince of Orange visits the victims of the flood on 14 February 1825, temporarily housed in the Aalmoezeniersweeshuis in Amsterdam. Interior with the crown prince in the middle accompanied by officers, the hall is filled with the victims, including many mothers with children. Sketch for a painting.
