Tabernacle frame with broken pediment and inlaid marble

The pediment rests on a capital supported by two columns on the left and right. The frieze and the predella are decorated with various stones, including the marble types Porta santa (the two rectangular stones on the frieze) and Rosso antico (predella, center), and alabaster from Volterra (predella, left and right). The frame is painted black and decorated with patterns in gold paint. These painted decorations are block-shaped on the pediment, oval-shaped on the frieze and the predella. Floral motifs are applied around the image area.
