About this work

Geological context: Late Pennsylvanian, Graham Fm, Finis Sh Mbr. Collection locality: W-E measured sec (FC), upper part of section is exposed in E-facing slope of hill on which Mt. Zion Cemetary is located. Lower section is located 100 m to NE, being offset along the Gonzales Ls Mbr to a S-facing bluff located 50 m W of large stock tank. Cemetary is 1.7 km W & 0.9 km S of La Casa measured from jct of Rtes. 207W and 717. Top of section is exposed approx 1 m below cemetary level, Stephens County, Texas, USA. Collected by David E. Schindel, 1977-07. IP number 391021; lot count 1; accn=IPA.07121.
