Type status: hypotype. Geological context: Late Pennsylvanian, Earp Fm. Collection locality: 640 ft above base of Earp, .6 mi-long section measured from NNE to SSW down slope from center of sec. 22 at summit of Hill 6463 to NW corner of sec. 27 along rd from Portal to Paradise, & 1.75 mi NW of Portal, E side of Chiricahua Mt, Cochise County, Arizona, USA. Collected by Floyd F. Sabins, 1954. IP number 21890; lot count 1; accn=YPM.06409.
